Another cracking trip... Myself and Gareth headed into Ogof Ffynnon Ddu today , taking in plenty of the classic sights with a few extra side passages thrown in.

We started in the Big Chamber Near the Entrance before heading over to the hole at the top of Arête Chamber, heading up one or two passages gareth hadnt been up.

We then doubled back via the Wedding Cake. From there we dropped down the Corkscrew without to much issue and then into Salubrious tunnel to visit The Trident and The Judge. The Trident didn't disappoint.

After we headed towards Selenite Passage to Shatter Pillar, we explored the other passageway before making our way over to the ladder and up into Frozen River. That section is simply spectacular. The sheer amount of pristine decorations in there is stunning, and it's easy to see why it's one of the highlights of OFD.

From there we took Edward's Shortcut, we had to rig a hand line at the end just to make the climb as it was very polished. Then making our way to Gnome Passage, and made our way back out to the surface.

Not the biggest trip in terms of distance, but a good day underground with good company.
